The 2024 World Tunnel Congress (WTC2024), themed “Tunnels Enriching Life,” organized by the International Tunnelling Association (ITA) and hosted by the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering, concluded successfully on April 24, 2024, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The congress attracted over 2,700 participants including experts, scholars, and industry representatives from 65 countries and regions. Spanning across an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the event featured 193 renowned enterprises from the global tunnel engineering industry chain. Additionally, it hosted 195 academic presentations on 15 different topics and facilitated visits to 8 advanced technology routes.

The conference featured a formidable lineup of guests who were not only pioneers and founders in various specialized fields but also pivotal forces driving global tunnel technology innovation and practical application to new heights.
